Furniture Care

MDF Painted Furniture

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth.

For tougher stains, use a mild cleaner such as Handy Andy.

Avoid abrasive pads or strong chemicals.

Monocoated Furniture

Wipe with a damp cloth for daily care.

For optimal maintenance, use Furnicare Surface Cleaner or Rubio Monocoat Surface Cleaner, available on our website.

Mahogany Furniture

Polish weekly using a wax-free aerosol furniture spray to preserve the finish and shine.

Kiaat / Teak Furniture

Wipe with a damp cloth.

When the wood appears dry, apply Burmese Teak Oil to restore natural oils and prevent cracking.

Oak Furniture

Wipe gently with a damp cloth.

When needed, apply Pro-Nature Oil or Rubio Monocoat Surface Cleaner to nourish the wood.


Rug Care

Outdoor Rugs

Shake or beat outdoors to remove dust.

Avoid vacuuming with beater bars or rough attachments that can damage threads.

Wash with a mild Sunlight Liquid solution and sponge.

Rinse thoroughly using a hose and dry flat in shade.

For tough stains, use a diluted solution (1:10) of Jik to water. Always patch test before applying.

Cotton Flatweave Rugs

Professional cleaning is recommended.

If washing at home:

  • Lay flat and wash in 30°C water with mild detergent.
  • Rinse well, reshape, and dry flat in a well-ventilated area.
  • Do not fold while wet.

Upholstery Care

Fabric Upholstery

Follow care recommendations specific to your fabric.

For best results, we recommend professional dry-cleaning.

Leather Upholstery

Mix warm water with Dales Glycerine Leather Soap or use directly.

Clean with a soft cloth dipped in the solution.

Wipe dry with a clean, damp cloth.

To restore moisture, apply Dales Leather Oil, Hide Food, Dubbin, or Neatsfoot Oil depending on the condition of the leather.
