Furnicare Terms & Conditions

By purchasing items from our online store, you agree to the Terms and Conditions set out below. Please read them carefully and keep a copy for future reference.

The Furnicare website (www.furnicare.co.za) is owned and operated by Furnicare (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa under registration number 2016/450170/07.

Furnicare may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.


1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall, to the extent permitted by law, be referred to arbitration in Pretoria, at a venue to be determined by Furnicare, in accordance with the Uniform Rules of the High Court of South Africa.


2. Products and Pricing

  • All products and prices displayed on our online store are subject to change without notice and are dependent on availability.
  • Prices are listed in South African Rands (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT.
  • Furniture is made to order, with an estimated lead time of 3–5 weeks, unless otherwise specified.
  • If any non-furniture items are out of stock at the time of your order, we will notify you as soon as possible.
  • For non-stock items, the lead time is typically 6–8 weeks, but may be extended in certain cases. We will contact you should this occur.
  • Furnicare reserves the right to cancel orders due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • We strive to display product colours accurately, but we cannot guarantee colour accuracy on your specific screen or device.
  • Natural materials such as wood, leather, and fabric may exhibit:
    • Variations in shade, grain, and texture
    • Dye lot differences
    • Cracks or natural marks in solid wood
    • Colour changes due to light exposure or cleaning agents
  • Finishes and treatments applied to products are subject to environmental and usage factors once in the customer’s possession. Therefore, no guarantees can be provided regarding performance or appearance over time.
  • Our care guidelines are general recommendations only. Furnicare will not be held liable for damage due to misuse, improper care, or environmental conditions.

3. Payment & Orders

  • Full payment is required before any goods are delivered or collected.
  • Orders must be fully paid within 3 months of the initial deposit.
  • Custom Orders: Once a deposit is paid, production of custom items begins. These orders cannot be changed, cancelled, returned, or refunded. Customers must confirm specifications before placing the order.
  • Online payment options: Credit card or EFT.

4. Delivery and Collection

  • All delivery, courier, and transport costs are for the customer’s account and must be paid in full before dispatch.
  • Furnicare does not deliver on weekends or public holidays.
  • Delivery timelines may change based on operational factors. We will inform you of any changes as needed.
  • Access responsibility: Customers must ensure that there is sufficient access for delivery. Furnicare will not be held responsible for damages caused due to restricted access.
  • Delivery is available within South Africa only.
  • For collections, customers must bring their own blankets, ropes, and padding for safe transportation.
  • No exchanges or returns are accepted on collected items.
  • Once collected, any damage becomes the sole responsibility of the customer.
